WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5, 2019

AHSRA 2018 – 2019 Betsy Rose Memorial Rodeo QUEEN CONTEST

8:30am – Horsemanship in Main Arena @ Payson Event Center (open to public)

10:00am – written test (contestants only) Quality Inn

11:00 am lunch/social with judges/contestants (contestants only) Quality Inn

12:00pm- personal interview (contestants only) Quality Inn

1:30pm – Contestant speeches, modeling and questions @ Quality Inn, Payson (open to public)

Shooting Competition

Arrive between 10:15 and 10:30 We will shoot at 11:00AM – 22 Long Rifle competition @ Jim Jones Shooting Range

3pm – Trap shooting competition @ Bird Busters

End of year top 10 shooting awards will be given on Saturday evening during the banquet as well as signups for Nationals

Special Needs Rodeo

9:00- 10:00 Special needs rodeo and grand entry No members on horseback only special needs contestants led on horses by members. All student officers, queens and queen contestants along will all members please participate in our 5th annual special needs rodeo and grand entry. Please see the Flyer for information and volunteer opportunities.

2nd Performance

2pm – Grand Entry – Final grand entry with current student officers, Queen & first attendant Farewell and final hot lap, presentation of the Betsy Rose Memorial Spirit Award by Judy & Buddy Rice, crowning of the new queen and first attendant and announce the new student officers election results.

PROM

  • Friday, June 7th: Theme – NFR Back Number ceremony
  • Location: Mazatzal Casino Mile Marker 251, State Route 87
  • Time: 8 pm – Midnight
  • Entry/Check-in: Admission is free. You MUST bring or wear your back number (serves as your ticket). guest back numbers can be picked up at the High School Trailer on Friday. You will check-in for prom with your number, which will be re-issued to you upon leaving the event. Once you leave prom you may not re-enter.
  • Theme: NFR Back Number Ceremony. DJ, drinks and snacks are provided.
  • Attire: Semi-formal appropriate attire.
  • Need Flowers, Corsage or Boutonniere?

1pm- Grand Entry – New Student Officers, 2018-2019 New Queen and First Attendant, All Seniors Introductions and Hot lap. Filmed by RFD TV, as part of the Cinch High School Rodeo Tour. “The future stars of rodeo”. All members please wear CINCH TEAM SHIRTS and Cinch wear!

Dinner Banquet and Awards Presentation

Please Note: This is a catered event. Dinner tickets/payments are non-refundable and only 250 total dinner tickets will be sold.

  • Nationals Qualifiers
    • Make sure you come prepared to complete all National paperwork including camping, stalls, SSN, jackets sizes, shirt sizes, check book or cash.

NOTICE:
Immediately following the awards Banquet, there will be National and SSIR sign up for all members planning to attend.
