Travel Routes for the 2019 NJHFR
Hello all,
By now, I’m sure you are all aware of the devastating floods that have struck the middle of our country. As the rain continues in some of these areas, we thought it might be helpful to remind your contestants (and you) that some of your planned routes may not be open. Flooding has taken out roads in Nebraska, Iowa and Missouri as well as devastating families and livelihoods in these regions. Some of the roads that have been washed out won’t be passable or repaired for some time. I would urge you to let your contestants know that if they are coming from the east to Huron that they check out their travel routes to make sure they allow enough time to get to the finals by the check-in deadline at 7:00am Sunday morning, June 23rd. We want extend our thoughts and prayers to all who have been affected and truly want everyone to arrive at the NJHFR safe and sound.
